Trump was accused of putting pressure on the US Department of Justice after the election

The documents that have come to the disposal of US congressmen indicate that former US President Donald Trump tried to put pressure on the Ministry of Justice in December 2020 to cancel the results of the presidential election.

We are talking about the recordings distributed by the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the US House of Representatives, Carolyn Maloney, made on December 27, 2020, by Richard Donohue, then-Acting Deputy Minister of Justice — US Attorney General. The documents relate to his telephone conversation with Trump and Jeffrey Rosen, who was the acting head of the Ministry of Justice.

It is emphasized that Trump asked to say that the elections were not clean, and “leave the rest” to him and the Republican congressmen. At the same time, the former head of the White House threatened Donohue and Rosen with the loss of their positions if they refused to comply with his request.

Earlier, Trump said that during the presidency of Joe Biden, the United States has gone beyond socialism and is moving towards communism. In his opinion, the country becomes communist “when there is no press to communicate with.”
